After years of traveling around the country and sampling different types of barbecue, Scott Reid of New Jersey discovered why Texas is renown for its style of barbecue. He began smoking meat as a hobby for family gatherings and it quickly became Scott’s passion. He then realized to “be the best” you must “work with the best.” Scott began his training under some of the leading masters of pit barbecue in Texas. From that Texas Smoke Barbecue llc was created.

Only the best cuts of beef and pork are seasoned to perfection with Texas Smoke Barbecues’ secret rub. The meat is slow cooked and pit smoked for 8-12 hours over the finest selection of oak and hickory wood. The end result is mouth watering tender meat with a visible smoke ring. The 3 tastes you will savor are spices, smoke and meat which is the authentic Texas style and belief. Barbecue sauce is used to enhance the meat…not create the taste or cover it up.

Scott has aligned his company with Texas Rib Rangers, one of Texas’ award winning food service companies and has chosen their barbecue sauce to compliment and enhance his meat. Scott not only uses this sauce but also has made it available to the public through this website and on site at the locations listed in this schedule. Texas Rib Rangers barbecue sauce has won numerous awards including “Best on the Planet” 2 years in a row at the American Royal.
